Behind the Name

Anavah translates to humility or modesty. One step further, it means to take up your God-given space in the world— a perfect balance between not overestimating yourself or your abilities, and not underestimating them either.

We may not see mountains move, but they move us—the people who observe, admire, interact, and reflect. Mountains can teach us a thing or two about taking up space, gracefully, yet fully. This is how we see our clients practicing Anavah.

From a human perspective, mountains stand stoic and still, massive symbols of quiet endurance and immovability...new research reveals that mountains are, in fact, moving all the time, swaying gently from the seismic rhythms coursing through the earth upon which they rest.

Our Guiding Principles

  • Nothing is Wasted

Every part of your story up until this point matters in a way that can be used. Change your sight, change your story.

  • Move with Intention

Every prompt, question, dialogue, and activity is a building block that serves a greater purpose in our work together.

  • Operate with Integriy

Our work is built on trust. Expect us to be caring and candid. Your business is your business, and will not be shared without permission.

  • Details Matter

We make simple special by celebrating your progress each step of the way.

Alexandria Theresa Skeete

Meet Our Founder

Welcome– I am so glad you are here. My name is Alexandria and I am the founder of Anavah Coaching & Consulting.

As a human being, I am a Christ-follower, Creative, Explorer, Foodie, INFJ, Libra, and Safe Space-Holder and Yellow Jacket.

As an executive within Accenture’s Talent & Organization practice, I spent over 7 years serving clients globally, across multiple industries, and multiple functions. As of 2022, out of 15 clients served, 6 were in the top 500 and 4 were in the top 100. (Please see client stories for a list of client descriptions.) Yet, my journey did not start here— I’ve been a customer and client-facing servant leader for almost 15 years.

As a strategist and practitioner, I coach executives and entrepreneurs, facilitate engaging workshops, listen to employees across organizations, use data to create meaning, and tell stories that inspire action. I love strategizing, and co-creating vision with clients until it becomes their new reality. My value in this space comes from my dedication to listen well, ask powerful questions, make big problems small, and from my passion to see people at their best (however they define it). My faith, work experience, and education in engineering, psychology, and yoga shape how I show up in the world. I do not shy away from solving puzzles, and I like taking the time to get it right for my clients so we can both say “it is well.”
